Emerson is Idaho Falls School District's Alternative High School. We are fully accredited by the State of Idaho and offer all classes needed to complete a high school education and receive a diploma.
The most significant difference between Emerson High School and a traditional high school is that classes are taken two at a time, with the student studying two subjects all day for 6 weeks.
Students from other schools or districts can enroll at Emerson to make up classes they have previously failed or which they need to take in order to graduate at their regular school. Complete registration packets are available at our school office, or in the counseling offices of local high schools.
Please call our office if you have enrollment questions, or stop by between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for information and/or enrollment packets.
